Bonji Tettei 凡事徹底 in Japanese
Bon means mediocre or ordinary.
Ji refers to things.
Tettei means doing something perfectly without any fault.
All in all it means that the more we want to expand our business, the more we need to carry on our everyday tasks in a perfect in a perfect manner. On the contrary, if you work lax, you not only inconvenience your colleagues and customers but also your income or promotion.
This has been my motto for during my lawyer years, which enabled me to FIRE in my 40's with good fortune. That era was tough but worthed it.
